At Corella Rise, water harvest and reuse is important to conserve precious natural resources. Water is harvested in large tanks and used at least twice: first for bathroom and kitchen; then purified for the surrounding gardens. The homestead is fully insulated to conserve heating and cooling energy. Heat shifters are used to move air around and ensure even heat throughout the house, minimising the use of firewood.

Kevin and Sandy are part of a select group of tourism operators taking part in the development of an innovative new Tourism Victoria ‘Tourism Excellence’ program.

The first of its kind in Australia, the program is designed to help tourism businesses and destinations get the best from their workforce, deliver the best possible visitor experience, grow tourism by working together, and ensure a sustainable industry.

The Moulynox’s are part of the program’s development to contribute to the future growth of tourism in Victoria, and help ensure that tourism operators like themselves continue to enhance the ‘visitor experience’.
